What we keep

From contractors with an account: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, so we can't read it), your company details and logo, and the jobs, change orders and photos you enter.

From clients who open a change order: the name typed when signing, the drawn signature, the time, and the internet address and browser the signature came from. This is the record that makes the signature mean something, and it appears on the signed PDF.

What we do with it

We use it to run the service: to show a change order to the person it was sent to, to produce the signed document, and to tell the contractor what happened. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and there are no advertising or tracking scripts on this site.

Who else handles it

The service runs on a rented server in the United States. If you turn on email, messages are sent through an email delivery company. If you subscribe to a paid plan, the payment is handled by Stripe; card numbers never reach our server.

Cookies

One cookie keeps a contractor signed in. Clients opening a change order get no cookies.

How long we keep it

For as long as the account exists. A contractor can delete the account in Settings, which removes its jobs, change orders, photos and signatures from the live service straight away and from backups within 30 days. Download your signed PDFs first; a deleted record can't be brought back.

If you're a client

The change order you signed belongs to the agreement between you and your contractor. Ask them for a copy, or use the link they sent, which keeps working. To ask us about your information, use the contact link below.
