What this is

SignedChange is a tool for writing change orders and collecting a client's electronic signature on them. The agreement a change order records is between the contractor and the client. We aren't a party to it and we don't review what you write.

Not legal advice

The standard terms we suggest and the forms we produce are starting points, not legal advice. Contract and home-improvement rules differ by state. Have an attorney confirm that your change orders meet the rules where you work.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what is sent from your account, and for sending change orders only to the people they concern.

Signed records

A signed change order can't be edited or deleted, by you or by us, while the account exists. That is what makes it worth having. Download the PDF of anything you need to keep for your own files.

Plans and payment

The free plan covers 3 change orders. The paid plan is $29 a month, billed monthly through Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time; it then runs to the end of the month already paid for. After cancelling you can still open and download what you have.

The service

We work to keep SignedChange running and your records safe, and we back the database up every night. It is still provided as is, without a guarantee that it will never be down or never lose data. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Fair use

Don't use the service to send anything unlawful or deceptive, to pose as someone else, or to try to break it. We may close an account that does.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell account holders by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
